Mahabaleshwar is one of the most fascinating and largest hill stations in Satara district, Maharashtra. It was established as a health resort in the year 1829. One of the few Evergreen forests of India are present in Mahabaleshwar. This place is an evergreen vast plateau measuring 150 km2, bounded by valleys on all sides.
