Jodhpur famously known as the “sun city” is centrally located in the state of Rajasthan. It is the largest settlement in western part of Aravallis. It was founded in 1459 by RaoJodha. It was previously known as Marwar and was named after its founder as Jodhpur. It is also known as “Blue City”.

Udaipur, called as the “City of Lakes”, is situated in Southern part of Rajasthan state. Udaipur city had been the capital of Mewar rulers for centuries. MaharanaUdai Singh laid the foundation for the city in 1557 A.D after he met a sage who counselled the King to establish a kingdom in the fertile valley that would be well-protected by the elevated Aravalli Hills. After this he set up a palace for him in Udaipur.
